January is usually pretty quiet, but interestingly enough, are then usually particularly interesting jobs!
This wedding cake is for a pair that goes to Japan. Cherry Blossoms I have quite a long time ago and we had done, they released the idea of an origami crane from flower paste to put with it. The crane is a symbol of good luck in Japan and in a marriage you always use so much happiness.
So a little fine tuning needed the crane still, but as it stands there, he likes it very much.

Normaly January is a more relaxing and quiet time for us. But it seems that orders at this month always turned out extremly interessting!
This wedding cake is for a couple moving to Japan. I have not done cherry blossoms for some years and while looking for japanese luck symbols, we found the origami crane!
we so just had to try this, made out of gumpaste, and I'm really happy how it turned out!
