Admittedly, what with me the discovery of this poster twins in Zurich's main station went through my head is not very flattering. As a reasonable man is merely to find this means sad hard to beat poster of Unicef, the black and white shows a mother, her frail child with a giant spoon a little Nothing fed, how can you "is terribly hungry" next to that poster with the message of all the advertising of fast food agent hang: this blurred Photoshop blonde who wants erheischen with her lascivious glance, the attention of passersby, and the Hamburger überproportionierten in rich red and orange tones that have an effect on the subconscious and awaken your appetite? Lacrimal glands of stomach juices - no contest.
We are of the Advertising industry so a lot of unreasonable usual. In the intent to influence our consumption habits, the seduction industry bombards us daily with their elaborate. We have learned to deal with it, hide advertising to ignore. Countless people pass by every day on this unequal poster couple. How many perceive what is there? And what the combination is dissolved in the people well, they notice? In my initial bewilderment was almost a given place to think, a reflection of the abundance in our society and how we deal with it.
The more I think about it, the more steals I feel that the bill poster, who has since faced in such a prominent place, these two posters today, maybe was not an unthinking ignoramus.
